Subject: How to replace user id file in mail database
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Administration
Technical Area: Security
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

I have users which ignore the warning that their certificate is expiring and I am faced with creating a new ID file for them. I tried the 'safe.id' method and I can re-certify it, but I find no way to 'Accept' it or to import into id file. So I create a new one. Now I am faced with the problem of replacing the user id in their mail database with this new one. I go to 'Properties' in the web access and try to 'Import notes ID' and I get 'Specified private key does not exist'. Is there anyway to accomplish this?

Thank you,

Durwin
